Want to play more board games?
As a part of MOAB this year, we’re introducing M3: MOAB Meeple Monday, a day dedicated to everything board games have to offer.
We will be running open participation games, learn-to-play games and tournaments for a range of systems throughout the day for everything from family friendly games to heavy strategy, giving you the chance to play more, explore, and discover your next favourite board game.
M3 takes place on Monday October 6th at the Sylvania Heights Youth and Community Club
BOARD GAME GIVE AWAY
This year at MOAB we are having a board game give away for our MOAB Meeple Monday!
All those who register and pay the $10 entry for a Learn to Play Game or enter in the Twilight Imperium tournament will receive a ticket on the day of the event. It is one ticket per person per $10 entry paid. This entry fee will still get you a free meal voucher too!
Tickets will be handed out in the morning at 9am to each player. These tickets will be called out at 11am randomly one at a time and the ticket holder can come up and select one game.
There is a large variety and amount of games which will be given away, however it is not unlimited so we cannot guarantee that every ticket holder will receive an item (it just depends on how many players we get). We will keep calling the tickets until the games run out or every ticket has been called.

I’m The Captain
 | Demo Organiser Thomas Cocks I’m the Captain is a fast paced, betting and drafting game for 3-7 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Bluff, bet and backstab your way across the seven seas in this mix of Liar’s Dice, card drafting and cut throat se collection. Will you brave a risky wager to claim the captaincy or simply support them? Alternatively, you could lead a Mutiny! Back the winning side and you’ll get to plunder loot (after your brave leader of course), but losers get nothing. The loot you get will help you with variable challenges like escaping the kraken, surviving raiders, winning a shootout, hunting for moby, or finding Atlantis, so every game is a different adventure! |
