Welcome to Sutherland Shire Tabletop Gaming Club — a friendly, inclusive community where players of all ages enjoy an exciting mix of miniature wargames, card games, and board games. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer, looking to enjoy a casual social die roll, or brand new to an game, you’ll find a warm welcome and plenty of great games waiting for you.
Weekly Club Nights
We meet every Friday from 6.30pm to 11.30pm at the Sylvania Heights Community & Youth Club, Box Road, Sylvania Heights.
Drop in for a casual game, organise a match in advance through our Meet‑up group or Sutherland Shire Gamers Facebook page, Join the conversation on our Discord, or simply come along to see what we’re playing. Visitors are always welcome.

What We Play
Our members enjoy a huge variety of games — with over 200 titles in our library, from fast and fun card battles to sprawling miniature wargames and modern board game favourites. There’s always something happening, and always someone keen to teach a new player.
Special Events & Big Games
Alongside our regular Friday nights, we run themed gaming evenings and occasional weekend meet‑ups for larger battles, campaign days, or just an all‑in tabletop brawl for bragging rights.

We’re proud to host and support some exciting tabletop events:
ShireCon – Our local games convention, launched in 2022 and growing every year.
MOAB – Mother of All Battles Our flagship gaming convention held every October long weekend in Sutherland.
CANCON Second‑Hand Stall Operated on behalf of the Canberra Games Society each January.
The club
The club has 2 rooms in the Sylvania Heights Youth and Community Club which is on Box Road at Sylvania Heights. The rooms have 5 tables each and lots & lots of terrain.
